Mounting and wiring the measuring head to the spooling arm, installing the tension device, running cable into the cab, mounting and powering the Depth Tension Display, and commissioning the LineWise system on a laptop. We calibrate the depth and tension inputs before the unit leaves, so the first job is not a shakedown.
Yes, and most units do. LineWise is configurable for any make or model of measuring head and interfaces with third-party equipment including Benchmark and Warrior. The Depth Tension Display outputs its tension signal to other acquisition systems for the same reason. We fit into the truck you have rather than asking you to replace what already works.
Yes. Retrofits are most of this work. Older units with mechanical odometers or failing encoders are the common case, and our measuring heads output to a mechanical odometer so the operator keeps the display they trust while the digital system records alongside it.
Both. Our Universal Measuring Head handles slickline and braided line in one head, which means a combination unit does not need to carry two. For dedicated units we install the slickline or braided line head as appropriate.
Because every measurement you take is worth exactly what its depth is worth. A pressure survey at the wrong depth, a hanger set in the wrong nipple, a log correlated against bad depth. The measurement below is only as good as the number in the cab, and the number in the cab comes from a wheel, an encoder, and how well they were installed.
