Job description:
The day to day:
This position is responsible for Inventory Management. Inventory management includes all aspects of inventory control including operation of DataCan’s Kardex VLM inventory machine.
What You’ll Do:
Inventory Management
· Operation of Kardex Inventory machine
· Perform regular physical inventory cycle counts
· Ensure parts and materials are properly stored and recorded
· Maintain an accurate list of current assets
· Identify areas for improvement and execute improvement plans
· Develop and maintain inventory procedures and controls
· Assist in investigating inventory and asset discrepancies
· Work with other departments to ensure inventory is being correctly allocated
Other:
· Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations
Qualifications:
· Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
· 6-12 months related experience and\ or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Competencies:
· Working knowledge of computer programs, specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
· Ability to read and write English, follow verbal and written instructions and use simple math
· Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team and individually
· Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
· Able to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, customers, vendors and the general public
· Ability to lift or move up to 50Lb
· Good time management, organizational and prioritization skills

Job description:
This position includes but is not limited to; preparation of all shipping documents, preparing and packaging orders for shipment, customer notification and delivery tracking.
What You'll do:
Shipping:
· Prepare and maintain all of shipping and customs documentation
· Prepare and package of regular and dangerous goods shipments, in compliance with all applicable regulations and customer requirements
· Ship and track customer orders; locally and internationally
· Perform quality control verification of outgoing equipment
· Select carriers, request shipping quotes and book pickups
· Notify customers of order shipping
· Pick sales orders as assigned
· Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
· May operate forklift to load shipments as required
Other:
· Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations
· Housekeeping, organization and maintenance of warehouse and shipping area
· Participation in regular inventory counts, maintenance of inventory locations
Qualifications:

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Overview: The QHSE Advisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining DataCan’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems. This full-time role, based in Red Deer, Alberta, supports Canadian manufacturing / operations and collaborates with teams globally to promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous quality improvement. The position plays a key role in ISO 9001:2015 compliance, audit preparation, employee training, and driving performance through data-informed decision-making. This role will also communicate with stakeholders pm DataCan HSE and QMS policies and history. Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
•Develop and maintain occupational health and safety programs.
•Act as Safety Representative for the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).
•Ensure compliance with Alberta OH&S Act and related regulations.
•Manage incident reporting, investigations, hazard assessments, and audits.
•Administer WCB and Return-to-Work (RTW) programs.
•Deliver HSE training and maintain training records.
•Support sourcing and coordination of HSE-related materials and services.
•Maintain documentation and analytics to support compliance and performance tracking.
Quality Management System (QMS)
•Maintain and improve the company’s ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System.
•Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits (Canada and global).
•Lead root cause analysis and CAPA processes.
•Track quality performance indicators and support continuous improvement.
•Promote quality culture and employee awareness through onboarding and ongoing training.
•Monitor customer satisfaction and handle quality-related concerns.
•Support supplier quality management, including inspection and corrective actions.
Global & Strategic Support
•Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent QHSE practices across all operations.
•Provide guidance and oversight for international quality and safety initiatives.
•Support integration of lean practices (5S/Kaizen) and drive cross-functional improvements.
•Maintain communication with leadership on QHSE trends, metrics, and risks.
Qualifications:
•Degree, diploma, or professional certification in Health & Safety, Quality Management, or related discipline.
•3–5 years of combined QHSE experience, preferably in an oilfield services, manufacturing and/or industrial setting.
•Demonstrated experience managing ISO 9001:2015 systems.
•Deep understanding of Alberta OH&S regulations and WCB processes.
•Experience working in global or multi-site environments is an asset.
•Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QMS/HRIS systems.
