Jr. Shipper/ Receiver

Job Description:
DataCan Services Corp. specializes in the design and manufacture of high performance downhole tools for the international market. Our team is looking for an energetic, team player for the entry level position of Junior Shipper Receiver, based in Red Deer, Alberta, to support our ongoing operations.
This office-based position is responsible for supporting all aspects of shipping and receiving including;
  • Electronic preparation, submission and retention of shipping and customs documentation
  • Packaging and shipping of Dangerous goods, in compliance with all applicable regulations
  • QC verification of outgoing materials
  • Submission and tracking of customer orders; locally and internationally
  • Communication with customers, suppliers and shipping companies
  • Receiving, incoming inspection and quality control
  • Use of pressure and temperature calibration equipment to complete QC verification of tools and process data
  • Use of marking equipment to complete marking of parts for manufacturing
  • Assist with inventory control
  • Other various tasks as required
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 Diploma

Jr. Electrical Engineer

DataCan Services Corp is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer become a full-time part
of our Research and Development team in Red Deer, Alberta. This individual is
responsible to maintain and support our industry-leading products and systems. The
Junior Electrical Engineer will work across a variety of functional groups that are directly
involved in engineering, product development and implementation. The ideal candidate
is an inventive problem solver that is capable of working through technical challenges
and employing pragmatic solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Technical Skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and printed circuit board layouts
  • Proficient with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters)
  • Experience with 3-phase power, variable frequency drives, schematic capture and PCB design software Assembly and soldering
  • Simulation/ MATLab experience
  • Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
  • Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.

DataCan Services Corp is looking for an energetic, motivated, results-oriented Accountant to become a full-time part of our team in Red Deer, Alberta.

This position is responsible for all aspects of shipping and receiving. This includes preparation of all shipping documents, preparing orders for shipment. customer notification and delivery tracking. Physically receiving packages, receipt verification, incoming inspection and quality control of parts, and placing parts in inventory.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Shipping:

  •          Preparation and maintenance of shipping and customs documentation
  •          Preparation and packaging of regular and dangerous goods shipments, in compliance with all applicable   regulations and customer requirements
  •          Submission and tracking of customer orders; locally and internationally
  •          Order picking as assigned
  •          Quality Control of outgoing tools
